I love a good silhouette and living in Northern California provides an endless array of gorgeous backdrops.

Gorgeous Teen

These are a few from a recent shoot.  I loved this session, she was such a pleasure to photograph.  She's one of those girls who has no idea how stunning they are. I kept showing her the pics on the camera lcd screen as we went so she could see how gorgeous she looked.  

Shirt and Tie

I took these at the end of February 2010.  I  used natural light and the background was actually his closet door in his room.  He has since added a pirate tie to his wardrobe so we will probably do a similar shoot with the new tie, soon.  Even with his messy hair, I love these photos and his expressions.

Bathtub Portraits

I love to take portraits of my children in the bathtub and they are some of my favorite photos. I do get some funny looks when I tell people that some of my best portraits are of my kids in the tub. I love the way they turn out because they always have fun in the bath and I find that I get the best and most natural expressions from them.
